FAQs

How can I buy wholesale artificial plants?

We sell exclusively to trade professionals: florists, interior designers, wholesalers, garden centres and decoration companies.

To buy, create your trade account here. We will review your application and, once approved by our sales team, you will have access to our full catalogue with prices, new arrivals and discounts.

Which artificial plants are best for hotels, offices and restaurants?

It depends on the space, the ceiling height and the light it receives:

Hotel receptions and large areas: large artificial palms add presence and fill spaces with high ceilings.

Offices: green-leaf plants such as dieffenbachia or spider plants work very well on desks, shelves and in walkways.

Restaurants, shop windows and covered terraces: ferns or ornamental grasses add a natural touch. If they get direct sunlight, choose UV-protected models so they keep their colour.

In hotels, restaurants and other public venues, the project, the activity licence or the insurance policy often requires decorative materials with a reaction-to-fire certificate.

Each country has its own fire safety regulations, and requirements can vary depending on the region and the type of venue. EN 13501-1 is the European standard for classifying reaction to fire and is widely recognised across Europe, so we recommend checking with your project’s fire safety consultant which class is required.

For these cases, we recommend our collection of fire-retardant products classified to EN 13501-1.

Can you help me choose plants for an interior design project?

Yes. If you are an interior designer, an architect or have a project for a shop, a hotel or a shop window, our team will help you put together a selection that fits your design, taking into account the style, the sizes and whether you need fire-retardant or UV-protected plants.

Are artificial plants fire-retardant? What certificate do they have?

Not all of them. Most artificial plants are made from untreated plastics and fabrics that burn easily.

Our fire-retardant collection uses materials treated with flame retardant and tested by the SGS laboratory to the European standard EN 13501-1, which classifies how materials react to fire:

Models with fire-retardant polyester fabric leaves: classification B-s1,d0.

Models with fire-retardant plastic leaves: classification C-s3,d0.

How to read the classification:

Letter (A1 to F): how much the material contributes to fire. A1 is non-combustible and F means unclassified.

s1 to s3: the amount of smoke produced. s1 is the lowest.

d0 to d2: whether it gives off flaming droplets or particles; d0 means none.

These are the Euroclasses used in building regulations across Europe and they are commonly required in projects for hotels, restaurants, shops and other public venues. If you need the products for your project, get in touch.

Can artificial plants be used outdoors? How long does the UV protection last?

It depends on the model. We have a collection with UV protection for up to 3 years, treated to withstand solar radiation, which fades pigments and dries out the materials of untreated artificial plants. The rest of our plants are designed for indoor use.

UV protection does not make them weatherproof. They are not designed to withstand rain, wind or frost, so we recommend always placing them in sheltered areas such as shop windows, bright indoor spaces, porches or covered terraces.

How long the protection actually lasts depends on how much sun they get:

Orientation: in south- or west-facing spaces with many hours of direct sun, wear is greater.

Shop windows: glass does not fully protect them. It blocks much of the UVB but lets most UVA through, which also causes fading. That is why we recommend models from the UV collection for shop windows and areas next to large windows.

Rotation: in very sunny shop windows, rotating the plants from time to time helps keep the colour even.

How do you clean and maintain artificial plants?

They need no watering, light or pruning. Simply dust them from time to time with a feather duster, a soft cloth or a hairdryer on the cold setting.

Avoid abrasive or solvent-based products to preserve their colour and finish.
